Please join us in congratulating Adam Margosian, our Safety Champion Award Winner for the month of May. After a trailer dump had just delivered material, Adam immediately noticed that the tailgate was hanging on by just the top right corner pin. He immediately notified the driver, but when the driver was assessing the situation, Adam observed the driver standing too close to the dangling tailgate. He immediately got out of his machine and got the driver out of harm’s way. He then called for a telehandler to come and get the tailgate into its rightful position while he kept the driver at a safe distance. Adam’s quick thinking and decisive actions prevented a potential accident. Thank you, Adam, for your ongoing commitment to jobsite safety and for demonstrating exemplary leadership in safety.
