Brox Industries, Inc. is committed to the preservation of the environment and was among those who led the way to produce construction material through its recycling program. We recycle petroleum contaminated soils (PCS) into usable components of asphalt. Used asphalt and concrete are crushed and used in the production of new asphalt or as an alternative to crushed gravel as road base. We also take stumps, grind them and produce recycled mulch and loam at our Hudson, NH facility.
Petroleum Contaminated Soil Remediation
Brox Industries, Inc. has a State approved petroleum contaminated soil (PCS) recycling facility located in Dracut, Massachusetts, permitted to recycle a broad range of used and un-used waste oil PCS including gasoline, kerosene, lubricating oils, hydraulic oils and Nos. 2 through 6 fuel oil. Permitted in 1987, Brox was among the first to recycle PCS into usable components of hot mix asphalt and continues this environmentally safe process today utilizing our Gencor 450 drum mix plant.
Pre-approval of all incoming PCS shipments is required to ensure conditions for acceptance are in compliance with our permit requirements.
