Steve Brown – June 2023 Winner

We are pleased to announce that Steve Brown was awarded the Brox Safety Champion Award in June for always being proactive and constantly looking for innovative solutions to keep our team safe. Considering the news of a recent MSHA fatality involving telestackers, Steve proposed having all of our telestacker alarms begin sounding off when the hydraulics are activated, versus when the machine is about to move, allowing employees sufficient time to get out of harm’s way. Steve coordinated this idea with the electrician and started the process to put this safety precaution into effect.
