Steve Brown – July 2023 Winner
Congratulations to Steve Brown for being named the Brox Safety Champion Award Winner in July. While completing some maintenance at the Hooksett Asphalt Plant, Steve noticed that a subcontractor crane operator didn’t have the proper rigging and tried to take a short cut with the rigging he had available. Steve made a quick decision to quickly shut everything down and insisted that the crane operator leave and return with the proper rigging for the job. Steve ensured that the equipment and the environment were safe and that the load was properly balanced. His unwavering commitment to workplace safety has earned him this recognition. Thank you, Steve, for demonstrating safety leadership, hazard identification, and correction – keep up the outstanding work!
